Text Message Banking

Text message banking allows you to check your account balances and recent transactions with a cell phone in a matter of seconds. This is a fast, easy method to access balance and account history information, and any MMFCU member with a text message-enabled phone can use it. There is no need for a data plan, a large phone screen, or a keyboard on the phone. Simply send a text message to our designated number and the appropriate banking command, and within a few seconds you'll receive the information you want. This service is FREE** for all MMFCU members.

Text Message Banking commands include:

  • BAL – Balance on your primary account (which you set in CUOnline)
  • BAL ALL – Balance on all your accounts
  • BAL CHK – Checking Account Balance
  • BAL SAV – Savings Account Balance
  • LAST – The last few transactions on your primary account
  • TRANS (amount) – It will make a transfer for your desired amount

To sign up for this service, log in to your CUOnline account, and click on "Mobile Banking & Alerts" in the navigation bar (under "Account Access"). Follow the instructions to enroll in text message banking. Please note: If you register for text message banking and do not receive the activation text message, you may need to contact your wireless carrier to unblock our text message number (454545).
